The weather was superb for the latest fishing club outing held 6 – 8 January 2017.

All anglers fished to the best of their ability for some great piscatorial species caught.

The weekend angling champion and men’s division winner was D. Neville catching a full bag limit for our club of whiting, snapper and some great bream.

The men’s division runner-up was Robert Bartlett who caught some great tarwhine, whiting and bream .

The ladies’ division winner was Michelle Cole who caught a fantastic flathead and a great bream.

The ladies’ division runner-up was Marion Smith who caught quality whiting.

Poppy Rapley won the junior girls’ division ahead the rest of the field and her brother Saxon Rapley, with only 0.3 point difference in their total fish weights, won the junior boys’ division.

The mystery fish drawn was a Trevally and was not won. Great Angling.
