Paddison is a very experienced golfer who has played on the Australasian and European PGA tour for nearly twenty years.

Local golfer and member of the Hawks Nest Golf Club, Les Miller, nominated Luke after he had shown good form in his golf performance when he won the men’s division over the two days of the Hawks Nest Golf Club ProAm and Luke has also won six open men’s individual events around the Hunter area over the past eighteen months.

Member of Hawks Nest Golf Club and Karuah Golf Club, Luke started playing eighteen months ago reducing his handicap from 36 to 14 and is currently being coached by Hawks Nest Golf Professional Andrew McCormack.

When News of the Area asked Andrew for a comment on Luke’s performance, he said, “Luke is an amazing young lad with a fantastic attitude.

“His golf is brilliant, he is always polite and he is very mature for his age.”

Luke referred to his experience in Sydney and told News of the Area, “It was good to watch how the pros manage their game around the course minimizing the risk to get the best score.

“Hawks Nest Golf Club needs to be thanked especially Les Miller and my coach Andrew McCormack for putting the time into the juniors.”

Luke hopes to continue on his golf dream and become a single figure marker in the next twelve months.
