Investigation continues into robbery at Pacific Palms

Police from Manning/Great Lakes Local Area Command are continuing to investigate an armed robbery at a licensed premises this week.

Around 10.10pm on Sunday 14 December, three men with their faces covered entered the club, which is located on the Lakes Way at Pacific Palms.

Police have been told the men were armed with a machete and a crow bar.

The men confronted three employees, who had closed the club and were leaving the building.

The employees were forced back inside, and a male employee was assaulted with the machete. He sustained a severe laceration and a fracture to a bone in his arm.

Police would like to speak to three men who they believe can assist with inquiries.

All have been described as being 20 to 30 years old, between 180 and 190cm tall, and with average to solid builds.

The male employee has undergone surgery at John Hunter Hospital and is in a stable condition.

The stolen vehicle has not been located and police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to its whereabouts. If the vehicle is sighted, it should not be approached and police should be notified.
