Catherine Britt was a child prodigy of country music, from her early endeavours with Kasey Chambers to a personal invitation to record with Elton John.
Last year, Catherine held her head high through a battle with breast cancer and become an inspiration for Australian women.

This year, she won the Female Artist of the Year Golden Guitar for her album Boneshaker, which also received an ARIA award nomination for Best Album.

Bluestone Junction have long been considered one of Australia’s top traditional bluegrass bands, fronted by extraordinary singer Chris Jacobs.

The band features some of Australia’s finest bluegrass musicians. Mick Harrison’s driving banjo, Donal Baylor’s swingin’ fiddle, Pet Fidler’s sweet mandolin and dobro, and Mike St Clair-Miller on powerhouse double bass.

Bill Chambers is well known to Aussie audiences through his relentless touring and recording, showcasing a deep respect for a diverse range of roots music genres.

Bill will be on stage with his band and the usual swag of electric, acoustic and slide guitars.

The 2016 festival will feature local circus troop Soulfire Circus performing to live music from Gleny Rae Virus and her Playboys under the big top.

The circus troop will also conduct circus workshops for the young folk and host a performance from local school children.
