Karuah Community Centre in conjunction with Karuah Working Together has recently started its renovations which commenced on Monday 13 April.

The main building is expected to close for approximately two weeks, however The Shed will be fully operational and ready for you to head on down and pick up a bargain or two.
Karuah Working Together Committee member Benita Parker said, “Alterations are intended to add another dimension to the life of the Karuah Centre.”

She said, “When renovations are completed The Shed and the Visitor Information Centre will hold an updated retail section which will include local Arts and Crafts, and an Interpretive Centre telling the story of the town.”

Benita said, “Karuah Working Together hope to provide more details on improvements in the coming months as it all comes together.”
