The store, which opened in 2008 under different management at the Tanilba Bay Shopping Centre, has progressively been transformed with walls painted in new and varying colours, new stock, relocated furniture, new hair basins and a bigger work space.

The new changes will take the total workstations to 10.

Owner and manager Cassie Beer told News Of The Area, “Our valued clients deserve the best products, services and environment, but after nine years, its age has started to show.”

“The changes are  also to help our growing staff and clientele base because we’ve outgrown the salon in the last few years and need more room and space to move,” she said.

The salon has also started to stock an all natural skin care range and now offer bright Pravana colours as part of their service.

The changes come as the salon often has to turn away clients due to insufficient staff and work areas.

They will happen progressively as staff work together in non busy times to get the work done.

Some have even come in on their days off to help with the renovations.

“We are also happy to announce the return of our much loved colleague of three years, Mel Metcalfe, from her year long working holidays in Europe.”

She is now back in store accepting new and old clients.

“We want to thank our clientele for being patient while we undergo changes,” Cassie said.
