The volunteers, staff and contributors at the MarketPlace event did a fantastic job to raise the final total.

Colleen Mulholland-Ruiz, Centre Manager/Marketing manager, told News Of The Area, “The day was a wonderful success for an even better cause.”
“We just want to give a massive shout out to everyone who donated and got their hair shaved or coloured, as well as our retailers, many of whose staff raised funds or shaved and coloured their hair in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.”

“Another shout has to go to the lovely girls at Christianes Hair Design, Michelle from Nextra and Mary-Jane from Big W for all donating their time all day to help colour and shave all the volunteers,” she said.

Money raised from the World’s Greatest Shave helps to fund vital research that will assist more people survive blood cancers like Lymphoma, Leukaemia and Myeloma, while also improving their quality of life by giving families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need.
