Myall Masters Seaside Pirates swim meet

While most of us freeze through winter a number of brave Myall Masters Swimming Club members attended the Seaside Pirates swim meet held at the state of the art, indoor pool, at Knox College on the north shore of Sydney.

The results were extremely good considering we are in the middle of winter and shows the very high calibre of swimmers in Myall Masters and those results continued to contribute points to ensure Myall Masters is leading 2nd Division and even eyeing off a spot in Division 1.

Individual Results were as follows: Christine Sefton (40-45 years Women) 1st 50 m Breaststroke 2nd 100m Freestyle 4th 50m Freestyle Sharon Taylor (45-49 years Women) 1st 200m Freestyle 3rd 100m Ind.Medley Leon Bobako (65-69 years Men) 1st 50m and 100m Breaststroke 2nd 50 m Butterfly Chris Mobbs (65-69 years Mens) 1st 50m Freestyle 2nd 50m Backstroke 2nd 400m Freestyle.

These members also swam in 4 X50m Mixed Medley and was placed 3rd in the +240 years age group.

This was a great effort from these hearty winter swimmers from Myall Masters with the club placed 12th overall of 28 clubs represented.
