It was certainly an evening of triumphs and high emotions for the worthy recipients of the seasons annual awards.

Judy Glover who was presented with her award from Masters Swimming NSW as volunteer of the month for March, a great honour, as convenor of The Handicap Series detailed the series winners.

First was Mal Motum who was placed in every handicap swim which was an outstanding effort throughout the season.

Second was Peter King who swims a lot faster than his age would indicate.

This was also evidenced by his honour of being named the most consistent swimmer for his age group(80-84 years) by Masters Swimming NSW.

Third was Chris Mobbs who deserved third place given the effort, training and travelling he has put into his season during 2014-15.

Chris Lock was announced as 2015 Club Member of The Year.

It was an unexpected achievement for Chris who was very emotional but very deserving of this honour as he has represented Myall at Pan Pacs, State, District carnivals as well as being on board of Masters Swimming and recently achieving his Chief Timekeeper status.

Certainly a great club man.

The highlight of the evening came when club stalwart Rhonda Bobako was bestowed with life Membership of Myall Masters Swimming Club.

Rhonda was overcome with emotion and needed a towel to mop up the tears before giving a thankful speech to all members where she relived her swimming career with Myall and her husband Leon.

2015 was a great season for Myall Masters, full of achievements for the whole club and celebrated with great fun and fellowship at an excellent venue, Mumms on the Myall.

The club is looking forward to an increase in membership and an even greater 2016 season.
