THE NSW Rallycross State Championship 2021 was held at Raleigh Raceway over the weekend, sanctioned by Motorsport Australia.

Rallycross competition uses a combination of sealed and unsealed surfaces.

25 entries were received, made up of three Classes for the heats: Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive.

All classes combined for the Semi Final and Final.

The weather conditions were wet, making manoeuvring the dirt sections of the track challenging for drivers, however, it made for a level playing field and some great racing.

The format was four heats of four laps for each driver on the Saturday.

The Semi Final, featuring sixteen cars, was then eliminated to four cars for the Final held on Sunday.

Troy Haworth was named State Champion as an Outright Winner driving a Toyota Celica, Car 53.
