Pindimar man arrested for break and enter

LAST Friday police arrested a 23 year old Pindimar male for a number of break and enter offences in the Tea Gardens area.

The man, from the Port Macqaurie area, was on current bail with conditions to reside with his father in Pindimar.

He was questioned at Raymond Terrace Police Station about break-in’s in Tea Gardens and Port Macqaurie areas.

He denied any involvement in the matters.

Police executed a search warrant at his Pindimar address in attempt to locate stolen property.

Police spoke with his 49 year old father and the warrant was executed.

No stolen property was located however the search revealed an amount of cannabis.

The 49 year old male admitted ownership of the cannabis and was dealt with for possession of prohibited drug.

The 23 year old was charged with the Break and enter into a Port Macquarie radio Station on 8 April 2014, a break-in at Tea Gardens on 24 August 2014, breaking into a vehicle on 24 August 2014 and breaching his bail conditions by not residing with his father in Pindimar.

It is suspected he is responsible for a number of other incidents in the Pindimar and Hawks Nest areas.

He is assisting police with those enquiries.

The man was refused bail and to appear at Raymond Terrace Local.
