Pink Day at Myall Park Tea Gardens

Last Saturday, 25 July 2015 was a sea of pink that could be seen right across the country. Great Lakes communities, businesses, groups and individuals certainly did their bit to help support fundraising for breast cancer.Carey Mason

At Myall Park in Tea Gardens, it was a pink affair with the Myall Mudcrabs hosting ‘Pink Day’ 2015.

An all pink stall selling all things pink, with pink Champagne the order of the day for the adults.

There were a variety of pink outfits and a large contingent of young pink girls in attendance.

Throughout the afternoon, there were raffles and prizes for best pink outfit with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Organiser on the day Fiona Mobs said, “We would like to thank everyone who turned up for their support and the Mudcrabs for hosting the day.”

“The boys looked great in their pink socks and got right behind the spirit of the day.”

A stream of kids kept Carey Mason busy at the face painting stand, while Neil Davy and David Bright took up duties on the barbeque.

In the thick of it at the all pink stand, Heather Davy and Stephanie Rushby kept the crowd happy with pink cakes, lollies and drinks.

A great day had by all and money raised for a worthy cause, it doesn’t get any better than that!
