Police seek witnesses to robbery at Taree

Police have released images of two men who may have witnessed a robbery at Taree last month.


About 10pm on Tuesday 28 July 2015, a 49-year-old man was found at the intersection of Albert and Manning Streets, Taree, with swelling and bruising to his face.

Police believe sometime before 10pm that date, the man was assaulted by unknown persons before having his wallet and a packet of cigarettes stolen.

The man was taken to Manning Base Hospital for treatment to facial injuries.

Police have released CCTV images of two males who police believe may be able to assist with their investigation into the incident.

The men or anyone who recognises them are urged to contact Taree Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
