Florence Humphreys has been drawing her entire life, has been painting since a very young age, and has no plans to stop anytime soon.

Her newest exhibit has been a long time in the making with many local artistic avenues taking up Florence’s time since her last exhibit.

Florence has been involved in the Morpeth Teapot Festival for an impressive thirty years and became known as the ‘teapot lady’.

She also taught painting for many years.

Florence told News Of The Area, ”I’m excited to have this exhibition and get back into showing my work.”

“I have been known for a long time as one of the leading artists in the painting of wildflowers, and I’m proud of this achievement.”

“I’m excited to show my old followers who haven’t seen my new work, what I have been up to all this time,” she said.

Ms Humphreys’ work are on exhibition at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.
