From Austin’s to Volkswagens, and Vintage to Veteran there are plenty of cars that the members of this club are proud to own.

The Club held its Annual General Meeting recently and they were proud to announce that members had enjoyed 96 events in the year including a fun run to Nundle.

With 110 members the club is growing with members joining along with their Jags, Mercs, old Holden Utes, Ford Capri’s and even Vintage “Woody” trucks are on the membership role.

In fact anyone with a motorised vehicle manufactured at least 15 years prior to the current year, and that in the opinion of the Committee is a classic vehicle and or a motor vehicle less than 15 years old that in the opinion of the Committee will become a classic Vehicle and can join.

This year two members have been awarded life membership with the Port Stephens Classic Automobile Association, Charles Dobson and Laurie Toscano.

Charles Dobson told News Of The Area, “I have a 1971 Capri and a 50 Austin A40.”

While Laurie Toscano said, “I started work as a mechanic and I have a VW Roadster, I am a VW man at heart,” he said.

Both Laurie and Charles were foundation members of the association and are still actively involved in the events and activities of the association.
