Council’s Strategic Planning Coordinator Jeff Bretag said the participation of the Port Stephens community is invaluable.

“We are seeking feedback from people with a disability, their families and their carers about what improvements can be made to ensure people have equal access to buildings, activities, facilities, services and information,” Mr Bretag said.

“The survey should take only five minutes to complete, but community input is invaluable to future planning for Port Stephens.”

Council is committed to creating an environment that improves the quality of experiences for people living with a disability.

It is committed to planning decisions that support an equitable and inclusive community for everyone including those with a disability, their carers and family members.

The survey is open until 31 January 2017 and can be completed online via haveyoursay.portstephens.nsw.gov.au/DisabilityAccessPlan or a hard copy can be provided on request.
