The baton has well and truly pasted to the new Music Director, Mr Ellery Durrant.

Ellery is a recent graduate from the University of Newcastle, with a Bachelor of Music degree, gaining a distinction in Vocal Performance.

President of the Seaside Singers Mrs Jeanette Antrum (OAM) told News Of The Area that the answer is that the SeaSide Singers will be continuing with their focus on Australian music and Australian composers at a Choral Workshop.

“We are excited to be able to present The Australian Landscape in Music which is to be led by Ellery at the Soldiers’ Point Bowling Club on 14 October”.

“Anyone wanting to attend can find the information on our website, www.seasidesingers.com.au or they can phone me on 49846483 for registration details,” she said.

The SeaSide Singers would like to thank all those who attended the Annual Concert in July and are looking forward to the continued support of the Port Stephens community, as this group of amateurs strive to provide quality entertainment at an affordable rate, to the residents of Port Stephens.
