BULAHDELAH long-term resident and local Real Estate Agent Jeff Carryer is retiring from the business he started in 1999, with the announcement that Great Lakes Realty has been sold.

Jeff operated the business six days a week and said, “Now is the time to get the caravan out of the shed where it has sat for the past three years, and start using it.”

Great Lakes Realty has been purchased by Denise Haynes of R & R Property who opened the doors to their second premises in Bulahdelah in January this year, adding to their successful office at Stroud.

Jeff will continue working as a part time consultant, ensuring a successful transition for existing clients, and offering 25 years of knowledge for future clients.

“I have sold some of the properties three or four times over the intervening years, and made many friends through Real Estate and advising prospective purchasers,” Jeff said.

“It is easy to sell something when you are passionate about the area and have lived there for the better part of your life.”

Jeff, and his wife Jane, “intend to live in the area for many more years”.

“We would like to thank all past sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants for their trust, and I look forward to working with the R & R Property team in the future,” Jeff said.

“That same passion and dedication will be evident with the new owner and her team, offering the largest selection of rural and residential properties within the area.”

Denise said she is looking forward to working with Jeff to expand the business even further with her passionate team of agents.

“We are sure that this will be a seamless transaction and look forward to the opportunity to provide our continued exceptional service to the community,” she said.
