THE volunteers at the Bulahdelah Courthouse Museum have recently set up a sewing corner featuring garments and items from the early 1900s, including a nightdress which was a prize winner at Bulahdelah Show.

We obtained a display cabinet when the library moved into the RTC and have it full of lovely old vases, a lot of which were wedding presents given to brides in the 50s and 60s.

The laundry is looking great and we are currently searching for an old blue bag, a draining pot and copper stick.

If you have any of these items, we would be more than grateful and we would love to add them to our laundry.

The museum is opened every Saturday from 9am until 3pm.

Entry fee is $5 and we welcome everyone.
Irene Worth
