Seafood sure to be popular this Christmas around the Myall Region

Christmas is of course a very popular time of year for that special meal with family and friends, and like tinsel on a Christmas Tree, no Christmas feed would be complete without some quality seafood products like Prawns and Oysters.

It’s no secret that the Myall Coast has some of the best Prawns and Oysters available, and the rush has already started at the Tea Gardens Seafood Co-Op in Marine Drive opposite the swimming pool.

Speaking with Myall Coast News, Karen Malone from the Co-Op said, “The orders are coming in now. It appears no one want to miss out this year on having some top local seafood on their table for Christmas Day.”

“We have taken about 80 orders so far, mainly for the Christmas Day favourites like Myall River prawns and local oysters but of course we offer a wide variety of all seafoods when available.”

“I’m sure no one will be disappointed with their orders,” she said.

Hours of operation during the Christmas / New Year period will see the Co-Op closing at 5pm sharp on Christmas and New Years Eve, and will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Avoid disappointment now and head in to see Karen and staff at the Co-OP and place your order early.
