A MOTOR vehicle was set a light on the side of a road near Bulahdelah Golf Club on Sunday 19 June.
The vehicle was found at about 9.30pm and was totally destroyed by the fire.
Bulahdelah Police report investigations and inquiries into the incident revealed the car had been stolen from Port Macquarie the previous night and dumped at the location.
Bulahdelah Police are asking for anyone with knowledge of any suspicious activity near Golf Course Road to contact them.
