Charlotte progressed from zone to regional and now to state.

The state competition will be very highly contested and will included players from Catholic, state and independent schools.

Charlotte said that she is not sure if she’ll be playing singles or doubles at this stage and that the decision would be made when she gets to Sydney.

Afterwards a state team will be selected to compete in a national competition.

The year 6 student said that she started playing tennis at the age of seven.

“I thought it’d be good fun,” she said.

“It keeps me fit and healthy.”

Charlotte said, “I’m getting in about four and a half hours a week of training.”
