Channel Seven’s Sunrise crew visited Hawks Nest last Saturday to film live weather segments for the weekend program.

With perfect conditions on show, scenes featuring picturesque Bennett’s Beach were broadcast live across the country.

Fun-loving weather presenter James Tobin filmed three segments from the Surf Club area on Saturday morning before moving onto the beach for his final three reports.

The Sunrise presenter described the area as “simply perfect.”

“The Coastline is stunning, it’s amazing to think we have beaches like this so close to Sydney,” James told News Of The Area.

“It’s a great community with lovely locals and it’s fantastic to see so many of them turnout today.”

In between filming, James was happy to spend his time talking with community members with many jumping at the opportunity to be photographed with the television personality.

fellow Sunrise presenter Mark Beretta, cycled into the area as part of the Tour de Cure last Friday and enjoyed the support of locals during their visit.

The Sunrise Program has a National audience of over 300,000 viewers on weekends.
