The Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Surf Life Saving Club will raise the flags on Saturday 23 September to coincide with start of the school holidays.

The TGHN Surf Life Saving Club is also looking for new members to become Nippers and join one of the most successful clubs on the North Coast.

“The organisation promotes fun, fitness and friendship whilst giving back to the local community,” Kate Maddison said.
“We had some amazing results across the whole club last season.”

“We had Nippers attend Branch and State and receive medals.”

“Our club also came first at State for the women’s surf boats, the club’s first gold medal in the boats at State and we had competitors attend Branch and State and many medals from this plus two who went to Worlds and won medals.”

New members can register online www.sls.com.au/join or at Registration sessions on Friday 15 September at 6pm and Sunday 17 September at 2pm, both at the club at the end of Booner Street.

The first Nippers activity will be Sunday 8 October 17, 1pm at the local pool.
