BOOKLOVERS are invited to participate in the final NSW Reads event next week which will feature Andrew Pippos, the author of ‘Lucky’s’.

Andrew is based in Sydney, and he will be in conversation with Amy Heap from Riverina Regional Library with the support of the NSW Public Libraries Association.

‘Lucky’s is a magical saga of love, family and second chances.’

It’s a story about migration and a man called Lucky, his restaurant chain, and a fire that changed everything.

NSW Reads is the State’s first State-wide reading program.

It’s a big book club in which everyone in NSW can participate.

“After a year that has been so isolating, it’s wonderful for readers to be able to come together and all read the same book,” NSW Public Libraries Association executive officer Adele Casey said.

“‘Lucky’s’ will resonate and deliver a sense of nostalgia to Australians of all ages in both metro and regional areas.”

The online Zoom event will be held from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday 17 February.

Numbers are limited for this free virtual event and bookings are essential.

Lucky’s can be borrowed from any of the three Coffs Harbour Libraries branches at Woolgoolga, Toormina and Coffs Harbour, it can also be found in the library’s Rapid Reads section or purchased from The Book Warehouse at Coffs Harbour.

Tickets to Andrew’s free online author talk can be accessed through the Coffs Harbour Libraries Facebook page.
