Tea Gardens Men’s Bowling Club News

17 MARCH
There was rain around, but 54 players celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on the greens.

With all the rain we had experienced over summer I thought the grass green was going to be a touch heavy, but Steve Green worked his magic again and it was excellent to play on.

Little did we know of the rain yet to fall!

The winners on 22 points were Bob Peady, Ron Rowe and Doug Naylor

The lucky losers on 19 points were Tom Short. Dennis Ashbridge and Geoff Muggleton

Mike Delacca won the ‘Garden Eatery’ voucher, lucky man.

Our thanks to them.

In other news:

All Pennant play was washed out over the weekend as the rain came down and is still raining.

It will be a doubleheader weekend and so next Sunday, 28 March, Grade 4 play at home against Wallsend, Grade 5 play at Soldiers Point, Grade 6 play away at Raymond Terrace and Grade 7 play Nelson Bay at home.
