Pools at Tea Gardens, Bulahdelah, Stroud, Krambach, Nabiac, Gloucester and Tuncurry will open on Saturday, 28 September, news that will be welcomed by local swimmers as well as holiday makers.

“The weather is heating up and it’s the perfect time of year to get to one of our pools,” said Dan Aldridge, MidCoast Council’s Manager Community Spaces, Recreation and Trades.

“It’s a great school holiday outing and we know it will be welcome news for our regular swimmers too.”

Other pools around the region, Wingham Memorial Pool and the outdoor pools at the Manning Aquatic Leisure Centre in Taree and the Great Lakes Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Forster will open on Tuesday,1 October.

This year’s district pool season will end on 26 April, 2020.
