The group plans to expand the centre’s retail offering and make improvements to the internal appearance of the shopping centre.

The new owners are kicking off with a bang with a huge Christmas extravaganza in the week leading up to Christmas.

Santa and Mrs Claus will be taking up residency in Santa’s Grotto located within one of the stores in the shopping centre.

There will be daily Christmas craft activities, storytelling, face painting, singing and dancing and visits from Jingles the Elf, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and others.

All activities are free and will be taking place daily from the 18 December up until Christmas Eve from 9:30am until 12pm.

Chakyl Camal, CEO at Panthera Property Group, believes Terrace Central is a great investment for the Group.

“The Terrace Central shopping centre is centrally located, has convenient parking and a lot of potential,” said Camal.

“We’re currently planning ways we can introduce exciting new shops and also make visiting the centre a more pleasant experience for the community.”

Panthera Property Group also recently purchased Maitland Riverside Plaza (formerly Hunter Mall) in Maitland and have since upgraded the property, introduced Aldi to the centre and started regular community events.

“At Maitland Riverside Plaza we’ve seen huge success with school holiday events and family activities and will be looking to create the same community atmosphere at Terrace Central,” said Camal.

“We’re very excited to be taking over the centre at the busiest time of year and want to make it as magical for shoppers as possible,” Camal told Raymond Terrace News Of The Area..

“We’re interested in hearing what the community would like to see within the Shopping Centre so that we can make it a better place to shop.”
