The students were selected from each of the participating schools to receive a certificate and gift bag of vouchers from local businesses proudly supporting the program.

This week’s winners are:

Ethan Wyatt from Salt Ash Public School for showing integrity in all situations.

Ethan always follows our school values of being a positive, respectful and safe learner.

Monica Evans from Raymond Terrace Public School, for bravely representing her school in the community when presenting her speech at the Lions Club Public Speaking Competition.

Phoebe Low from Irrawang Public School, for helping to deliver bread each week from Baker’s Delight to the Raymond Terrace Community Centre to assist those in need.

Matilda Dodd from Grahamstown Public School for proudly presenting her school at the Raymond Terrace Lions Club Junior Public Speaking Competition.

Ocea Liston-Smith from Hunter River High School, awarded for her involvement in raising $3,500 for the Dolly’s Dream foundation.

Ocea helped by selling raffle tickets, helping with the setting up and packing up, organised and participated in activities and events during the day.

Cooper King from Karuah Public School, for assisting staff and parents to pack up after the Karuah Public School sports carnival.

Cooper always displays a positive attitude when interacting with staff, peers and the community.

Levi Car from Medowie Public School, for returning a visitors badge to a parent who had lost it at school.

He noticed the badge had fallen off, and walked over to give it back to them.

Madeline Armer from Seaham Public School, for dealing with a medical emergency at home in a calm and mature way.

Madeline alerted a neighbour, kept her siblings calm, and showed great responsibility when dealing with a situation when a family member had become extremely unwell.

Makayla Knight from Irrawang High School, who was recently asked to umpire for the New South Wales Hunter Regional Netball Gala Day.

WIthout hesitation, she committed to the job.

Makayla is a B Grade badged umpire, which she obtained through her local netball association.

On the day, she umpired boys netball, both years ⅞ and 9/10.

She did an outstanding job, and displayed our school values of respect, responsibility and personal best.
