Two men and a woman charged with serious offences after affray at Tuncurry

Three people have been arrested following an affray at Tuncurry yesterday. Police were called to De Lore Crescent in Tuncurry about 2am (Friday 13 March, 2015), responding to reports of a fight.

They discovered a 23-year-old woman with facial injuries after allegedly being punched in the face. Her vehicle was also damaged and a glass window smashed.

Police investigated the incident and about 1.40pm yesterday (Friday 13 March 2015) a 28-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested in Tuncurry. A few hours later a 27-year-old man was arrested at his home at Forster.

The 27-year-old has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV) x 2, intimidation (DV), assault occasioning actual bodily harm and malicious damage.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with armed with intent, intimidation (DV), malicious damage x 2, and possess cocaine.

Both men have been refused bail to appear before Taree Local Court on Monday (16 March 2015).

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with intimidation (DV). She has been granted bail to appear before Forster Local Court on Wednesday 8 April 2015.
