THE creative members of the Galleries in the Gardens Group are busy preparing for their annual Winter Warmer Exhibition at the Tea Gardens Hotel over the June long weekend.

This year’s Winter Warmer theme is ‘Habitat’, which has triggered a broad array of creative interpretations.
“The unique and beautiful habitat of our area is what has attracted many of our residents, and continues to be a magnet for visitors,” Galleries in the Gardens President Lee Anderson said.
“Then there’s the habitat within our own homes and backyards.”
“All are a wonderful source of creative stimulation,” Ms Anderson said.
There will be paintings, sculptures and ceramics on display in the Dolphin Room at the Tea Gardens Hotel.
‘’Most will be available for purchase and just waiting for the opportunity to add an inspiring decorative touch to your home or to make a special and valuable gift,” Ms Anderson said.
Locals and visitors are all invited to the Exhibition’s opening night for a first look at the artworks and a chance to chat with artists and a complimentary drink and nibbles from 5pm on Friday 9 June.
The exhibition is open across the long weekend from Saturday 10 June through to Monday 12 June between 10am and 4pm.
