Woman dies after alleged domestic assault at Quakers Hill

A woman injured in an apparent domestic assault at Quakers Hill has died in hospital overnight.

Police will allege an argument occurred between a 46-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, who are in a domestic relationship, during the early hours of Monday 27 April 2015, at their home on Hillcrest Road, Quakers Hill.

About 6am (Monday 27 April 2015) NSW Ambulance Paramedics were called to the home where they found the woman to be suffering head trauma, serious bruising to her face and a collapsed lung.

She was taken to Westmead Hospital where she died overnight. .

A 46-year-old man appeared in court yesterday (Tuesday 28 April 2015) and it is expected further charges will be laid
