Magician Quenorie Eades is back at the library, this time hosting a pirate party.

“The kids can come in fancy dress if they want, face makeup, or just wear an eye patch,” Library Chris Shelly told News Of The Area.

“She’s organising lots of fun games including a treasure hunt and tug-of-war.”

Chris said “Beware however, Quenorie may make some kids walk the plank and if you are really naughty you’ll have to scrub the deck.”

There’ll be craft activities for the children, maps and hats to make, maybe the odd sword or two and what pirate would be complete without a patch.

There will also be maggoty biscuits and seaweed water and gold for afternoon tea.

Sounds yummy.

Cost per child for the Pirate Party on Wednesday 12 July from 2pm to 4pm is $7.

As always though, bookings are essential and can be made online at hhtp//library.midcoast.nsw.gov.au.

There’s also a ‘Puzzles and Board Game’ afternoon at the Tea Gardens Library.

All ages are welcome to grab their friends and enjoy a game of Snakes and Ladders, Boggle or Uno.

This is a free activity being held on Wednesday 5 July between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Again bookings are essential on the MidCoast Library Website.
