A highlight will be the tour of the Historic Tomago House where you will step back into history and see how the Windeyer family.

Established in the 1840’s, this country residence with it’s huge verandahs and cool cellars was the heart of a vast agricultural estate built by barrister and one of the nation’s leading political legal figures, Richard Windeyer for his family.

The grounds feature a beautiful stone chapel that is still in use for weddings today.

This year the National Trust join with the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children to create a fun and exciting annual Charity Event.

There will be entertainment, great food, and an amazing array of unusual and eclectic market stalls.

The day will include devonshire tea, face painting, live music performances as well as a special performance by the Chance to Dance (children with disabilities) team.

Tomago House is looking for stallholders with a standard stall of 3x3m costing $35.

Both vintage and non-vintage themed stalls are welcome with a call out for fresh local produce stalls.

“This year’s motto is all about friends helping friends,” Lynda Prescott Tomago House Event Coordinator, told News Of The Area.

“We will be sharing the day with other local non-profit groups who are able to host complimentary stalls on the day,” Ms Prescott said.

This event can’t be a success without the community getting behind it,so a huge call goes out to everybody in the Port Stephens area and beyond to come and be a part of this wonderful day.

See you at the Fair.
