WHEN North Arm Cove residents celebrate, they celebrate in style.

This year’s Christmas in July dinner was no exception, and the residents were treated to a fine spread.

North Arm Cove resident, Jan Noake, told News Of The Area, “This has been such a lovely evening, the food was fantastic as usual and the wonderful company even better. We are lucky to live in a small town where the residents regularly catch up and celebrate evenings like this together.”

North Arm Cove is a small hamlet of residents, who pride themselves on their achievements together, and their ability to work together as a community.

And rightly so.
They offer a busy social calendar for residents, including theatre evenings, fundraisers and theme nights.
The community has worked together over many years to build and extend on the community hall, support the thriving rural fire brigade, run their own newspaper, set up and run their own library, install tennis courts and a playground – amongst many other endeavours.

They band together to welcome new residents and ensure they feel part of the social fabric quickly.

The Christmas in July dinner was the perfect example of a community that work together and play together.
