THIS week is the busiest week of the year for us with the running of our “Festival of Golf” commencing Sunday 24 October and finishing on Sunday 31 October with our ladies Coffs Plate and Ladies Classic two day events.

First we must say a big thank you to our ground staff/greenkeepers.

This year was a huge challenge for them due to the terrible weather conditions we have had in the leadup and during the event.

They have had to deal with multiple hail storms and huge downpours of rain which really made it difficult for the team to have the course ready.

They worked huge hours cleaning up and making the repairs necessary to the course and had it ready and in tip top condition for the start of the festival.

So thank you team we appreciate your huge efforts.

Due to 85mm of overnight rain it was decided to close 9 holes of the golf course for safety concerns, therefore the Coffs Plate was reduced to a 1 day 18 hole event with no play on Sunday.
