The Outstanding Community Organisation Award celebrates an organisation that works to improve the social, cultural or environmental wellbeing of the community.

The Community Transport Company will now represent the Mid North Coast as a finalist at the prestigious State Business Awards on Friday 26 November 2021.

The Community Transport Company CEO Bethany Langford paid tribute to her team of 141 people.

“This award is testament to the hard work and love put into the community by every one of my team,” she said.

“We have 108 volunteers who donate over 25,000 hours a year to transport people who are frail, aged, have a disability or are otherwise transport-disadvantaged.

“Our staff are incredibly productive and do an amazing job for our community, and they absolutely deserve this accolade,” Ms Langford said.

The Community Transport Company has been operating for 37 years and has over 5,700 clients.
