WITH the weather turning on them, and the skies pouring with rain from 6am, the organisers of the Longriders Bike Show were sceptical that the day would come together.
Their prayers were answered though, and by 9am strong winds roared through Tomago and blew the rain away.
A large variety of amazing motorbikes started rolling in, the gates opened, the crowd turned up and it was a full house.

Some beautiful hot rods were on display for the crowd to admire, and the trophies were up for grabs.
The band was fantastic, the wood choppers and taekwondo demonstrations brought in a curious crowd and there was quite literally something for everyone.
Dr Peter Rallings from Health in Abundance Medowie joined the crowd at the show and kindly donated his time all day offering free health checks.
The CMC (Christian Motorcycle Club) offered free ‘shoe shine’ to visitors, and sat all day shining shoes for motorcyclists.
There were lots of lucky winners in the raffles, great food, friendships made, atmosphere and plenty of money raise for two great causes.
Soldier on and Charlie’s Run 4 kids were the charities for this year’s bike show, and were undoubtedly grateful for such a wonderful event to be bestowed upon them charitably.
Congratulations to the Longriders Motorcycle club for such a successful and inclusive community event.
