MEDOWIE Little Athletics Club are this week feeling let down by someone (or someones) in the community this week after realising vital and expensive items have been stolen from the club.

On Wednesday 9 September, between 10am and 2pm, the Club’s equipment shed on Kindlebark Oval in Medowie was broken into, and two pieces of machinery were stolen.

A red ride on mower, and a green John Deer Gator that the club uses to transport heavy equipment on and off the field were both stolen, along with their batteries chargers.

The Gator has the Medowie Little Athletics sticker/logo on it, but they may have been taken off by now.

These pieces of machinery were purchased by the club, after extensive fundraising to raise money for them, so they are understandably quite upset about this violation.

Please keep your eyes peeled for anyone around you who suddenly has two new, and very expensive, toys.

If you have any information on these pieces of machinery, and their removal from the club facilities, please contact Raymond Terrace Police Station.
