Currently, the slipway has been rebuilt with gutters added to collect and process run-off from the working areas.

This, in turn, will be filtered, treated and pumped into the sewerage system in line with EPA guidelines.

On top of this, the amenities block will be given a makeover and disability facilities added.

A new block of four shop fronts facing Cook Parade will complete the development, one of which will trade under the name of Blue Marlin Marine.

This business will effect repairs and  sell both spare parts and marine motors.

A laundromat, retail outlet and cafe will complete the project providing  the community and visitors alike with facilities to be proud of.
