Medowie Christian School prides themselves on getting out into the local community and serving.

In 2017 they are proud to not just be serving our local community, but are looking far beyond Medowie and are excited to serve the people of Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The students are encouraged to earn their own way there, and have already showed wonderful initiative to begin working for the funds they need.

Jackson, Levi, Alec, Ashley and Jade, along with the rest of the team, are looking for opportunities to do odd jobs and earn the $1,600 per person needed to cover the cost of their trip.

The team will stay at Christian Community School Vanuatu (CCSV) in Port Vila and will be involved in projects with the school children as well as out in the local villages.

This will be a time for the students to be away from home and learn to stand on their own as the incredible young people they are.

If you would like to support any of the students, the team are currently looking for community members who are interested in paying them to do odd jobs such as stacking wood, mowing lawns, washing windows, washing cars, pulling weeds, yard or household jobs or any other odd jobs you can think of.

You can contact Renee Craddock on 0423 103 481, who will coordinate handing jobs out fairly to these wonderful young people.

The young people traveling to Port Vila wish to thank you in advance for supporting the Medowie Christian School community as they reach far beyond in 2017.
