No sooner have the members of the Myall Community Art and Craft Centre signed off on their three day annual Exhibition than they are planning for their next event.
But first, the Art and Craft members have a few thankyous to pass on.

“This year’s 2017 Exhibition would not take place if it were not for the amazing people who set up and took down all the tables and frames, namely the A Team,’’ Elsa Jones said.
“Then there are the members who work each year to make the items for sale, the ladies and men who display the goods in each room to their best advantage and of course the wonderful people who visit and buy or just come in to browse and wonder,” Elsa said.
Each year the Art and Craft group hold a raffle to coincide with the January exhibition.
The prize this year was a painting by artist Heather Brown, depicting the main street of Sofala in New South Wales.
All proceeds from the raffle are donated this year to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Visitors to the Myall Street Exhibition were also asked to nominate their favourite artwork to take out the ‘People’s Choice’ Award.
This year the winner was Joan Richards for her painting of Barnes Rocks inspired by the work of talented photographer Glen Henry.
Myall News Of The Area was also pleased to be a sponsor for the Exhibition.
The next event on the Art and Craft Calendar is an Easter exhibition with members showing off their skills to the public in a hands-on display of their many talents.
