Sawtell host Valleys during the latest round of the North Coast Cricket Council’s Premier League.

A TOP of the table blockbuster opens 2021 when Sawtell host Valleys Cricket tomorrow to resume the North Coast Cricket Council’s Premier League season.

After stopping for it’s Christmas and New Years break and having the last round off due to wet weather, the Premier League resumes with the top of the table Sawtell taking on the second placed Valleys Cricket in their one-day match at Richardson Park.

Valleys are the only team to have beaten Sawtell this season, while Sawtell won their last meeting, beating Valleys Cricket by three wickets in their two-day match in December.

Round 10 of the Premier League also sees the Northern Districts Rebels playing host to Harwood in Woolgoolga.
The Rebels have beaten Harwood two out of three times this season, but Harwood won their last meeting which was a two-day match in Woolgoolga last month.

The Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association’s first grade season also returns to action tomorrow.

The ladder leading Diggers Cricket Club Inc. take on the defending premiers Sawtell at Richardson Park.

Diggers will be out to snap a two match losing streak while Sawtell look to kick start its season as they currently sit outside the top four.

Match of the round sees the second placed Northern Districts Rebels take on the third placed Nana Glen at Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park.

Both sides head into the match in winning form, with Rebels having won five of their past six matches while Nana Glen have won their last three in a row.

Round 10 also features the Coffs Colts taking on Valleys Cricket at the Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park.

A Colts win would see them further cement a place in the top four, while Valleys look for their first win of the season.
