WOMEN of the Port Stephens business community have created a network where they share, grow and learn together.

The Port Stephens Women in Business network meets monthly and offers more than education and networking; on arrival there is delicious food and a sense of welcome for all.

The networking provides opportunities to grow business and to create networks which build capacity for the business owners.

The organisation also fundraises for worthy causes around the area and has assisted with providing donations which have facilitated security for domestic violence victims in the past.

In June the ladies met at Pacific Blue and learned about member business Curves who showcased the equipment and facilities which they offer for ladies to be strong now and into the future.

Tracey Transton challenged all the ladies who say that they are too busy to exercise to give up just two percent of their day and achieve a level of fitness that will make you happier in yourself.

Lucy  Ellis and Roxy Gee Kay of Rocking Your Imperfect encouraged the ladies present to own the struggles that have made them who they are.

Lucy Ellis told News Of The Area, “It is important for women to be their most confident self and to live unapologetically.”

The next event is a celebration Christmas in July which will be held at Poyer’s at Lemon Tree Passage.
