Ranger to speak on issues affecting Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest FEATURED Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest by NOTA - March 9, 2016 Rachel Kempers, Ranger, National Parks & Wildlife Service (NP&WS) will be giving a presentation at the next Hawks Nest / Tea Gardens Progress Association meeting. Ranger Kempers will speak on issues associated with the Dark Point sand dunes which are quite close to Mungo Brush Road, and will impact upon the road within a few years. NP&WS understands that the park and the access along Mungo Brush Road has many social and economic values to the local community of Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. Ms Kempers will give a 20 minute presentation and then 10 minutes will be allocated for questions from the audience. The Progress Association, at the meeting, will also discuss agenda items such as: Hawks Nest Town Centre Planning Review. The Grey and Thespian Mardi Gras. Support for a local Scout Group. Traffic Control at Myall Way and Myall Quays Boulevarde. Landscaping around the Tea Gardens Swimming Pool fence on Myall Street. Applications for funding from the Holiday Coast Credit Union.
