Funding is now available for community organisations in the Great Lakes area through the ClubGRANT program which is administered for Clubs NSW by Great Lakes Council.

Last year’s process in the Great Lakes resulted in 62 applications for Category One funding and more than $100,000 in grants being handed out to organisations across the community.

ClubGRANTS sees NSW clubs that earn over $1 million annually in gaming machine revenue provide funding for community projects and services, and in turn receive dollar-for-dollar gaming tax deductions.

Great Lakes Council’s Community Development Coordinator Lyndie Hepple said, “This funding is important to the community because it’s administered by local representatives who have an in-depth knowledge of our area. That means it is effective in ensuring that local needs are funded.”

Applications for Category One funding open at 9am on Monday 7 March 2016 and close at 4pm on Friday 22 April 2016.

Recipients of previous funding are reminded that they will be ineligible for further funding unless their project reports have been completed and submitted to the relevant club.

The funding round involves online applications only (no paper applications will be accepted).
