Salt Ash Pony Club invites members past and present of any Pony Club to celebrate and share memories at their Interclub Day on 19 May, 2019.

Kim Buresti from Salt Ash Pony Club is hoping to see a big turnout for the event.

Ms Burseit told News Of THe Are, “Many of our most successful Australian riders started in Pony Club.”

“We are looking forward to seeing and hearing Pony Club experiences and memories from any previous and current members.”

As part of the celebration Pony Club Australia is also acknowledging the contribution of long standing members and supporters over 80 years of age with a Living Legend commemorative certificate.

Pony Club is represented in 29 countries with a worldwide membership exceeding 110,000 making it the largest association of young riders in the world.

In Australia, there are over 800 clubs and more than 40,000 members.

“Pony Club gives riders the opportunity to try many different equestrian disciplines,” said Ms Buresti.

“It’s an organisation where riders can learn good horsemanship skills and we see great friendships and camaraderie develop among club members.”

The celebrations at Salt Ash Pony Club will begin at 12 noon at the Salt Ash Sports Complex on Richardson Road, Salt Ash.
