Myall Fitness in the Tea Gardens Industrial Estate is offering the over 55s a free class on Thursday 9 March between 4 and 5pm.

“We have a circuit class, where people can go around trying different stations, different activities, balancing on the ball, standing on the balance toys, standing on one leg, leg strengthening exercises,” Ann Woods from Myall Fitness told News Of The Area.

‘’For first timer, there are classes for people to come to that they don’t have to be a member, but if you’re coming on a regular basis it’s best to join.”

If you looking for another form of exercise, then maybe Croquet is more to your liking.

The Myall Park Croquet Club is holding a day of croquet and refreshments between the hours of 9am and Noon, and 1pm to 3pm on Saturday 11 March at the Myall Park Sporting Complex in Yamba Street, Hawks Nest.

And finally, the Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest Family Research Group is holding an Open Day.

On Saturday 11 March it will be free to anyone to research their Anzac history in their family tree.

The Tea Gardens Family Research office at 209 Myall Street will be open between 10am and 2pm.
