Thirty-one teams played a four-person Ambrose event in hot, sunny weather on a course described as “in immaculate condition”.

An extensive variety of prizes and auction and raffle items were up for grabs for the 124 players, all generously donated with the support of local businesses and players on the day.

The day raised more than $10,000 for a great cause and, over the last nine years, almost $100,000 has been raised from the Charity Golf Days for worthwhile causes.

The Hoys Allied Health and Carfinders staff not only had a lot of fun on the day but loved the chance to help give something back to a great cause.

“A big shout out to all our volunteers who help make sure this event runs so much smoother and helps us raise more funds,” Rob Hoy said.

“They are the real MVP’s!”

He also thanked Paul McAra, Kylie Butcher and the administration and greenkeeping team at Coffs Harbour Golf Club for making the day run smoothly and for their behind-the-scenes support.

The 2024 event is still yet to be locked in, and Mr Hoy urges people to keep their eyes peeled for details.

He also said that, despite having a fabulous day, unfortunately Hoys finally, disappointingly lost to the Carfinders team.
