Rylee Moses Kinkaid, School Captain, told News Of The Area, “For me, I wanted to be a leader and a role model for others at the school. I will wait to see how the role develops to see where I can make positive changes, I think it would be nice for everyone to respect one another.”
“I also think this role will help me in the future, because when I am older people can trust me, knowing I have those leadership capabilities.”
A joint response from Student Executive was given as follows.
“We like to take responsibility for the school to help improve it and be a role model for younger students and are inspired by previous School Captains and Student Executive.”
“We would like to see people learning how to be nice to one another by co-operating, working as a team and respecting one another.”
“This position teaches us to take responsibility, show respect and do your personal best.”
“This will be a positive influence in the future as it also allows us the opportunity to speak in front of others and improve our public speaking skills and confidence.”
